china gun now NP conversion!

SO I got to thinking about my nitro piston I was about to sell and had a thought, PUT IT IN MY CHINESE GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I took one of my chinese rifles with a blown out breech seal and ripped it apart. I had to cut the spring guide off the end cap. The hole in the outside of the end cap was a perfect fit for the shaft of the nitro piston. I installed the nitro piston with the big part forward and the push rod twords the back. I had to flip the end cap around to where the back thats normally out is facing in twords the front of the gun. I slid it all together then inserted the cross pin. Cocked it and loaded it had it still pinned in the spring compressor and pulled the trigger. It held together! And worked! H$%^ yeah! I had to cut a little of the end cap so I could get the stock back on. Then for the breech seal. Some where on here I read to use vacuum tubing. Well I didnt have the right size so I took a peice too big and modded it with the dremel till it barely slid in. Put it in place then closed the gun to push it all the way in. Man it seals good!

Finaly ran it through the chrony and went from mid 4's with to 523 fps avg with 8.9 gr HN crow mags! And 620's with RWS super h point.  I know its not an impressive 2x4 splitting power house but I am happy cause I took a busted gun and some parts laying around and made a 1 of a kind shooter! I think I need to work on my breach seal a little and it will get a little more velocity. but for now Im happy. Next time I take it aprt Ill take pics of the moded internals. For now I think I might have the only $30 chinese nitro piston rifle!
