«

Hi everyone got a question on this trigger. I know this gun is a copy of a rws 34 but can I put a real rws to5 trigger in? Reason I ask is my father in laws Ruger trigger screw tore out and rather replace it then fix it. Thanks Dustin

will drop right in...you can replace the trigger screw, no need to replace entire trigger group...

Thanks Mike! The screw is fine but the threads pulled out of the housing. Could tap larger but rather make it correct for him. Thanks again!

all you need to do is rotate the plastic plug 90 degrees and then put the screw back in....

I'll try that. Haven't looked at it myself yet. He just said when he cocked it the receiver pulled from the stock and there is no threads for the main screw. I know my 34's screw into the alu. housing.

Yup its the stock screw that hold the rifle together. Never seen this before on a untouched gun but its toast. Could retap but going to still try to get a replacement first.
Thanks

Doesn't that screw thread into a stamped steel nut that is simply nestled into the front of the trigger housing? On my Ruger, it does not thread directly into the aluminum housing. I believe Mike was talking about the trigger adjustment screw that is on the trigger blade itself.
Let us know if you find a reasonably inexpensive source for the diana trigger group, as I'm sure all would be interested.
Thanks,
Mike B

Thats the one Mike. Found nothing yet. I will keep everyone updated on what I do. One idea I did have was to buy a $60 refeb. for parts ,but thought it would be cool to put a real T05 trigger in first. Dustin

PLEASE,
If you haven't moved on this yet, get Mike to add a 2nd screw mod to the blade.....
You will thank yourself later. These guns are SO much better with this trigger mod, and its cheap to do.
Good luck and God bless,

Is this a do it yourself-able mod? if so, is there a link on how to do it? Thanks.

I can take no credit for the idea....but do know that when you get that screw in there, and adjusted properly....it makes a world of difference.
Some will say the T05 is a fine trigger on its own, and I would agree.....but, it is definitely BETTER that with the single screw mod. I like my trigger to be set just a hair back from safety disengage.....and really light. That will never be accomplished with the single screw adjustment. No matter how heavy or light you make it, you still have (IMO) tons of "take up" before she touches off.
Very much like a Rekord, if you ask me. Of course the trigger blade itself is not as ergonomic, but still, very adjustable.
God bless,

The trigger mod should be posted someplace in one of the posts about the rugers or possibly in the german gate...

If you look at the schematic of the trigger group for B25/28s and the RWS34/350. etc., the B25/28
HAS
a T05 trigger. I can't see a hairline of difference.
Will someone please correct me if I'm wrong?
