Recieved/Installed GRT III Trigger for TRAIL NP AW!!!!

I got it in the mail today from (user: PA1911) when i got home from work, took the 10-15 min to install it, and I am amazed!!! Much better accuracy! and i dont even think I have it adjusted right yet. I played with it a little bit but didn't want to mess with it too much till i posted on here to see what proper adjustments need to be made.
Heres what i observed:
There doesn't really seem to be 2 so called "Stages" I lightly squeeze the trigger and it just fires. Its not too sensitive that it's not "good", And the pull is MUCH MUCH lighter, and it is also a great improvement on the stock trigger. I just thought that there would be a short length, light pull (1st stage) then I would feel the 2nd stage stop it up a bit, then a little more pull to fire.....as it stands right now, there is just a light quarter inch pull and it fires....is this right?
if not, what adjustments do i need to make to get 2 good correct stages?
Dont get me wrong, I love it already. my groups have shrunk CONSIDERABLY since I installed it, and would not be disappointed if this was it, and there was no adjustments needed. lol

The second stage of the GRT-III is not a hard stop but more like a slight bump. When you are moving “pulling” the trigger you will feel a very slight change in resistance. It’s at this point where you are at the 2nd stage adjustment span. Depending on the trigger sear lever and the intermediate lever, it is more predominant in some guns more than others. Those parts are just stamped out pieces and not very good tolerances and can vary considerably from gun to gun.
One mistake that many shooters make is that they pull the trigger with the crook/joint of their trigger finger. You should be using the pad of your finger. If you are pulling the trigger correctly and using the pad of your finger, your finger will be more sensitive to the second stage.
Joshua... you can turn the slotted screw in very very slightly and give yourself a little more travel before it fires.

Thanks bob, I knew you would have the answer that I was looking for, afterall it is YOUR trigger lol. and I actually do pull with the pad of my finger, because I took note of the sensitivity difference. Thank you. I will give it a try tomarrow. GREAT TRIGGER by the way. it is a definate improvement, as i have read in virtually every review of any airgun. haha

Josh, Mine was exactly as you describe when I first installed it. I had to adjust the 1st stage screw on my GRT III almost all the way out to get a 1st stage. After getting it set right, it has been perfect. Seems the Trail NP AW requires the GRT III to be tweaked a little from normal.

I installed mine in my Crosman Phantom last night. I'm really pleased with the trigger. I can't imagine another improvment that would help the gun so much. I will probably leave it alone.
Now if I can just find some finer open sights.
