Just got back from reading apart on the airgun gate about IS THIS BAD made me think of a time when i was in basic training in fort polk in 1970..We were on the fireing range and were coming off i kept wondering why the drill sargents had these boat paddles that were painted red. some of these trainees had never ever touched a firearm any way when you come off the range you have to pull the bolt back up and down range and pull the trigger. this guy named deleecy from the bronx man he was like gomer pyle i am serious he pulled the bolt back and pulled the trigger and it fired....lol!!!! WE ALL FOUND OUT WHAT THE BOAT PADDLE WAS FOR THEN........ GUYS PLEASE BE SAFE we all know these ags now are very powerful . thanks david

Amen Brother, bad habits form gradually, and then bite you when you least expect it.
Pay attention to the basics.

Safety is so very important. You have to treat Air Guns exactly the same as powder burners. Both have two things in common. They shoot projectiles and both can be lethal.

Well Guys,
Safety has always been my first and middle name since i was a mere boy !
My father and uncle, both Army Veterans , taught me firearms safety as soon as I received my first cap gun !
They both believed that your never too young to develop good safety habits !
NEVER POINT ANY GUN AT ANYTHING THAT YOU DO NOT INTEND TO DESTROY, OR KILL !
A GUN IS ALWAYS LOADED, ALWAYS !
NEVER PUT YOUR FINGER INTO THE TRIGGER HOUSING UNTIL YOU ARE GOING TO FIRE YOUR GUN, NEVER BEFORE !
CHECK EVERY GUN TO SEE IF IT'S LOADED WHEN IT'S PICKED UP, OR HANDED TO YOU, AND CHECK EVERY GUN BEFORE YOU PUT IT DOWN, OR ARE GOING TO HAND IT TO ANYONE ! EVEN IF YOU HAVE CHECKED IT ALREADY ! SAFETY CAN NEVER BE TOO SAFE !!!!!
In the Military, you must NEVER accept a weapon that has the action closed, from anyone !!!!! EVER !!!!
By following these simple rules, YOU will always be SAFE !!!!!
