It seems fairly obvious that they don't want to be in the parts supply business.
You would think Daina would find another rep. for their products. The main spring on my 4mo. old 34 broke so I called and talked to Mike. I asked if they would send me a replacement and was told no, policy. And was told I would have to pay shipping both ways to have it looked at. If it was found that the spring was not defective I would have to pay for repairs. He sent me a prepay for shipping 1 way and said if I used it and it was found not defective I would have to pay for the repair, bench charge and shipping both ways. Needless to say I'm not impressed so I sent this information to Daina in Germany. I have no problem with Daina products just their representative here. I asked Daina if there was anything they could do to help me with this problem? Waiting for an answer. The last time I emailed them I never got an answer.
just read the warrenty card for the new 34 i git today . it says parts that can wear out such as seals and mainsprings are covered for 18 months from registeration date and it isnt covered if the gun is opened or damaged by improper use or modification sounds like if you dont use it they MIGHT FIX IT ... but thats what my warrenty card says and you must provide the sales reciept also even if you register it as they ask for sales place as well as the date lots of red tape to me
