i traded for an older diana 34 in .177 it doesnt have the to6 trigger and i like .22 over .177 . today at the local gun show a dealer has a new diana 34 in .22 we was looking at trading my 34 for his 34 and $100 boot i think that is a good deal but am wondering if the newer guns are better than my gun? mine is dated 11-95 . am i goin down hill or is mine better than newer diana's ? need some feedback as tomorrow is the last day for the gun show and the dealer is too far for me to drive later to trade. my gun is ok has a little freckling fine wood shoots smooth but i prefer .22. get back to me on this 1 .

Tough call. Many of the newer T05 34's have the 12 land (outsorced) barrels. Most (like mine) shoot well ,but there has been some that don't group well at all. If it is a 8 land barrel I say go for it. If 12 you may just want to get a barrel for yours as the powerplant is the same. Dustin

So he wants your gun + $100? I think that's steep. What kind of .22 cal RWS M34 was it? Wood stock or synthetic? You can find a brand new M34 Panther for less than $200 on line if you shop around. Don't sell your older Diana short. It may not be a T06 trigger, but the older trigger can be adjusted/tuned very nice. Other than the caliber being not your favorite. I'm not sure but you could ask Mike Melick if the barrel from a B-25 will interchange with the Diana M34. If it will, you could buy a B-25 and switch barrels.

If you have a T-01 trigger, KEEP IT. It will have 2 screws on the trigger.

Forget the trade. Keep your 34 and find a used .22 34 on the Airgun classifieds. That deal sounds like &^^& and the dealer is probably trying to capitalize on the "rarity" on a .22 pellet gun. I've come across ALOT of gun dealers/folks that never realized Airguns came in anything other than .177. I go to just about all the gun show that come to my area looking for Airgun related stuff and am constantly amazed by the ignorance and garbage that most non airgun knowledged exhibitors pass on. Keep your gun!! If it has never been tuned, tune it or get it tuned. You may just change your opinion on the .177 Diana 34.
