Now this you wont believe!!
I told you about Thomas the "Beeeter-upper ". Well now he can be referred to as "Smudge". Thats because that is the mark , his last mark he left anywhere , on the road outside his own driveway on the street.( My front door will be so happy)
Poor 'ol Thomas. He musta attacked a car and got 'card".
Man he spread out to cover a big area , the owner just chuckled and said they'd just get a new young cat now .
Strange eh , such a strong spirited cat with such huge ego and control of the terittory , to be simply replaced by a newer one . What sort of love is that by the owner of any animal.I may have well have shot the Ba...s,,d a year ago.They're obviously not going to give a &^^& about the habits of the new one either.They should'nt have cats eh ?? I reckon first time Mk11 cat pees on my door or work my boots he's/it's a gonner. Yep ,, New Rules !!

You will be surprised how many crappy pet owners are out there. My neighbors across the street totally neglected every pet they had. One was a puppy dog and the other a cat that they did not neuter and had a litter of 3. With the 10-11mo. old dog they kept leaving it out in the freezing cold all day long, even though the guy's wife did not work and was home all the time. They even left it out all night one time, and it was the only time I heard the dog bark to get back inside. I had to call them on the phone to open the dang door and let it in. We used to feed it and water it, and even bring it in sometimes when it was in the teen's and 20's out, because sometimes they neighbors were not home all day. The dog (puppy really) would just run up & down the street and would look for anyone to play with coming out of their home, or pulling in the driveway. It was very friendly. Until 1 day another neighbor called the cops because she felt sorry for the dog, and they threaten with a summons. They started leaving the dog out less, but were still doing it. Then they eventually gave the dog away when it was about 1.5yrs old. because they claimed "it was so "wild" they couldn't handle it"!! So they got a cat instead for their 1 preschooler and their other kid that was in kindergarden to play with. Again they would let the cat roam and it got pregnant shortly after and had 3 kittens. A few months later they moved OUT, and left the cat and the kittens out on the street! They asked us 1 day before they moved out if we knew anyone that wanted to adopt them. I told them to put fliers out in town, shopping centers and a 2-3 block radius around our neighborhood. They did nothing. The 4 month old kittens quickly perished, or got eaten by fox, raccoon, and maybe Coyote, or killed by feral cats, because we never saw them again 3-4 days after they locked the house and left them outside on their own. My wife fed the kittens for a couple of days, but they disappeared the 3d or 4th day, and only their mother came to eat after that. We fed the female/mother cat for another 4-5 months after that, and luckily she found a home when a lady a couple of houses up the street took her in, because she had been feeding her as well. I still see that cat regularly.

Some people are just plain jerks, and should never be allowed to own pets, let alone have kids.. These people failed with both dog and cats. I sure hope they have given up on owning pets. I swore after my experience with this younger couple, that if I saw this happen again, I would call the authorities and do my best to have charges brought against any similar pet owner.

I agree with Jeff. Some things are not worth sharing. 2 months ago i had to console my 11 year old who watched one of the cats down the street kill one of her Bantam hens that she had raised all year. She blamed herself for weeks... If you cant keep your pets in YOUR yard and they step in MY yard and attack MY property, i guess you know where that goes...

i lost 13 ducks 5 chickens, 1 goose to rogue animals. three coyotes, one fox. guess what the rest of the culprits were? funny part bout the whole situation, no matter how good you batten down the pens they find a way in,....but they cant get out so fast when they realize they've been busted! good thing about geese, they are like a german shepherd when something comes into their space, man they make a racket, and they will kick the snot out of a kitty!!!!lol

In Pa. it's now legal to kill feral cats.

Poeple don't realize how many small game animals they kill each spring.

Fox,coon yotes, what's the difference? Somebody or something has to control them. Yes it is controversial but so is harvesting game according to the friends of everything!

My Dog Dowser kills things just because he can.
Recent event was feral cat that lived in our area used to jump the fence and run through the yard. Pretty stupid considering how fast Dowser is. If you blink he has run 30 yards. Well I was in the house watching TV and heard this gosh awful noise like a kid screaming. So I run out back expecting the kid next door had stuck his arm through the fence and a dog ran into it. Well no, what I get to see is Dowser grab kitty by it's head and crush then pull the head off. He crushed the body a few times then shook it and walked away wagging his tail. BTW he was wagging his tail the whole time he had a hold of that cat.
His dad Duncan just watched from a few feet away. When Dowser was far enough away Duncan walked over to the kitty body and checked it out. He had no interest and walked away. I collected the parts and chucked them over the fence where the Yotes hang out. They were gone the next day. Pretty chilling to watch a dog that sleeps on your bed tear a cat in half. Good thing I feed him well I guess. LOL

This subject can be a bit touchy but the fact is that cats are actually eaten in some countries just like we eat rabbits and other small animals.I'm an animal lover myself but if ANY animal which intrudes on me and becomes a problem said animal will die , its just that simple ! We have people even in this country that have cows and pigs as pets , yet we all eat them on a daily bases and I'm sure that those people will call us all sorts of names for eating cows and pigs-just the same as we would if we went to another country and saw a cat hanging skinned at the local butcher shop. People should understand that just because you show affection towards a certain animal that doesn't mean that someone else is not allowed to eat or remove the nuisance that one creates . Heck , some countries still eat dogs and I don't see people going there telling them what to do and how to do it.

My cat sumo was born to a 4th gen feral mother and is a great pet.. if the cat is younge enough it can turn out to be a great loving pet

I don't think I could pull the trigger on a cat, but if its truly wild and killing chickens, rabbits and ducks etc. And I was raising them to feed my family it would be shoot shovel shut up all day long.

i think i remember that the brits have dog trials and one of the requirements, or used to be, is to kill a cat....
