Have you tried many different pellet types and sizes?
Mine only likes jsb exact 5.52mm
I tried lots to finally get a brand to group.
Check the crown of your barrel for poor finishing if you suspect it's the guns fault

I will give the 552s a shot. I have used alot of different pellets. i can get 5 shots in the same hole at 20 yards and the next five have 3 fliers with the same pellets. (JSB diablo 15.xx grn) Ive shot a ton of different pellets and had similar results. I

Also the crown looks good to me, and inside the barrel looks nice as far as I can tell.

your problem could also be a scope problem.Sometimes when sighting in the scope too much spring tension is released from the erector tube, the scope then does not hold a true zero the result is some shots on target with a lot of fliers.

I will throw another scope on there. The scope that I have been using came off of a reliable great shooting gun. But I will give it a try so I know for sure.

has it always been hard to group or is it something thats happened after. Which pellet do you use and have you tried others?

Its always been like that. I have had it for about a month now. I have shot Jsb exacts in 15.8 grain, baracuda match in 21.14 grain, jsb exact jumbo monsters in 24.39 grain, and crosman premiers in 14.3 grain. it has shot the exacts well. then a scattered group minutes later under the same PSI in the tank. It has don that with the Jumbo monsters too. The baracudas and Premiers just didn't group at all.

Have you got a moderator or the like, fitted ?

I used to have a Webley Raider 10s (basically the same gun) and that was super accurate with Crosman Premiers.

Just as a thought, has the gun been dropped or knocked hard? I ask because i seem to remember an issue with the barrel band pressing against the barrel causing accuracy issues

What do you mean by moderator? It is bone stock as of now. Never been dropped. Another guy on the forum suggests that I take the barrel bands off. That solved alot of his problems.

Sound moderator or silencer. Sometimes if the silencer is slightly off centre the pellet can "clip" the inside. I do remember an issue when the AT44 first came out there was a thing with the barrel bands pressing against the barrel, if its not perfectly straight, causing all sorts of zeroing issues, hence bad grouping. Its not like its a problem as such, it just needs centralising to have the barrel absolutely straight. The pressure on the side can cause issues with barrel harmonics and make the barrel "shotgun" the pellets all over the place.

I caught on right away. It definitely has a ^%&^* on it. haha.

Well You got the gears turning now. I don't believe it is clipping at all. I looked down the *&(^(*^&(* and it doesn't appear that anything has brushed it.

I would loosen all the clamps, stock etc, holding the gun upright (barrel up) and bump the butt of the gun on a firm surface, a couple of times, do this on a surface like a work bench, this should "shock" everything back in line. I would check everything by eye then retighten the stock screws and I would leave the barrel band "snug" (not tight and not loose) or remove it completely.

The "moderator" can cause clipping and not actually make contact with the pellet, if the clearence is very tight. As Hatsan fit the same "moderator" on the .177 and the .22 it can be a bit tight on .22's, if possible see if you can lay your hands on a 5.5mm knitting needle and slide it in through the muzzle end to make sure you have an even gap all round

I believe it is because there illegal in a lot of the US, so there not allowed to be talked about on here in case the FBI/ATF/MiB or someone sees the conversation and people get in trouble.

Ironic then that we can use them on 12fpe guns, where we have to get so close to stuff, it can see us as opposed to hearing the gun
