Input for RWS 48 Scope

I have a BSA 2-7x32 scope on my RWS 48. Nice day today, dusted it off and went out to shoot. After about 30 or so rounds, shots were allover the target. After some checking noticed vertical adjustment doesn't work. Need some suggestions for new scope, and mounts. I usually shoot between 15 to 75 yds. I'm thinking a tactical scope, but have no experience with them. Thanks in advance.

I have a 3-10x44 Hawke Endurance on my 52. Nice package, clear optics and I reparallaxed it for 35 yards. It is my go-to squirrel killin', sparrow snipin' package and I didn't want AO on it - just point and shoot.

I lean toward the Leapers because of the locking turrets.  The Hawke Airmax has no locks.  Not that it is a problem at this time on the Hawke, seems to stay on target.  But it is a replacement from a previous scope that something came loose in the scope tube.  But replacement was not a problem with Hawke, good customer service.

Leapers 4-16x40 ao scope. I have 2 and they will hold up to the recoil of my 350 and 470. They are nice locking turrets 9 mil dots in both directions lock of clicks for adjustments locking turrets and they are $69! They are a steal. Clear glass compared to other scopes in thier class. Great bang for the buck scopes.

Got that scope on a RWS 52 (same gun different stock). No problems at all. The side focus is also great. You may want to get the extra wheel for it. Turns much easier with it and looks cool too.

Dustin beat me to it! I have the same rig. 52 with swat leapers....on a big boy springer, you need a big boy scope

Centerpoint 4-16  and Leapers 3-12 both on my D48, both 22 Ft lb rifles... on for thousands of pellets, no problems, even shooting at 100 yards on bench...

s10gto what mount did you use on your gun. I see 2 base adapters on PA for RWS, One of them compensates for droop the other one doesn't. Not sure which one is rite for the 48.

I used the reg, one ,but every rifle can have different amounts of droop. The one with droop comp. may be better anyways. The closer the scope is to its center the better.

It's a little more expensive than the other suggestions so far, but the SWFA Super Snipers are great scopes.  I have a 10 power model on my 350 and have had no problems with it.

On my 4 Dianas...i use all Leapers.........after working with them all....I am truly thrilled with the 4-16 x 40 ao....it is light, clear and truly the best of the bunch for me....

by the way....if you are t05.....I do swear by the UTG mount that hangs over the front.....

Thanks to everyone. I decided to go with the UTG 4-16x44AO. Going with the UTG mount, and the 80mm side wheel.

Awesome choice. Let us know how it works out. If you have a t06 the leapers/utg base can be flipped arourd to line up with rail for proper eye releif. Havent used the 4-16x44. Isnt that a side wheel adjust and 30 mm tube? Cant wait for a full review. I like the side wheel adjustment but not the current price on side wheel scopes. The leapers are reasonably priced for sure. Well hit us back with a full review when you get to.

I have the to5 trigger. Going to order scope and mount this week. Let you know how it turns out.
