I have a rws350 fuerercraft..
I ordered the leapers 3-9x32 scope..
I have the utg DN460 scope elevation compensator mount..
and i got 1 inch scope rings that say utg, but they wont fit on the base..
I have the scope mounted on the rifle without the mount right now and they are shooting high enough at 7.5 yards, but im not sure ill get the same results outdoors at 20-40.. anyway.
what rings do I need to get to fit the scope mount and scope?
thanks

Yes sir, weaver low mount....or even better...a weaver low "offset" mount. This will bring the scope to you. Bye that I mean, those smaller scopes, I have to crank my neck to see properly. The offsets bring the scope to you...hope this helps Bart

That mount has like 54 MOA of slope...you might find out your scope runs out of up adjustment or is at its end of adjustment range. How many MOA of adjustment range does your selected scope have ??

When you get your scope make sure its centered optically. That means click it all the way to one end of adjustment then count the clicks from there to the other then center it. Do windage and elevation. MAKE SURE YOU LIGHTLY TAP THE SCOPE WITH A PLASTIC SPOON HANDLE ABOUT EVERY 20 CLICKS. I usually put the scope on the gun and tap the rings not the scope. Tapping it helps to move the parts inside and will lessen the chancecs of binding and damaging the scope. Once centered then tighten the scope down and shoot at about 10 yds. If its shooting high shim the front ring if shooting low shim the back ring. All shimming is is putting a peice of material between the bottom of the scope and the base of the rings. I use coke cans. 1 shim of coke can gets me about a mil dot at 10x at 30 yds. I use a max of 3 coke can shims and have had no problems. Too much shimming can cause you to crimp your scope tube. Once your close with it centered then fine tune with the elevation and windage adjustmants.
Hope this helps.
