Munk #5, & Dorina's new glasses

So! The mount for my 3-9x40 scope came in today and I couldn't resist getting it on Dorina and sighting her in. After shooting the two targets pictured below (three shots on left target, center bull is 0.5" diameter, 30yds, CPHP, windowsill position) I saw this guy running in front of my target stand. Bad timing for him!

The scope was at 8x and already well in the zone, so I loaded up a CPHP and followed him for a few seconds. He must have thought he was safe cause he sat still in a pile of branches just short of 30yds out. The pellet hit dead on where I was aiming... maybe a little to the right. He dropped and didn't even twitch! Pellet went in high on his flank and exited low by his front leg.

Had to pose him for a good pic. Tried to get a shot of Dorina and the munk at the same time, but the cool dramatic lighting made that impossible, so I took a separate pic of the rifle. Ain't she purdy... I've always had a thing for chicks in glasses.

Great shooting Mark!  I think your Dorina is a little shy, that's all  

Great pics! and 30yd shot on a Chipper is hard.. but not for Dorina - the chick with the glasses!

Thanks Harry. She can be as shy as she wants as long as she keeps shooting like this! So good it's a little scary.

Now we're ready to take on the grays again.

Thanks Dave. I was thinking after yesterday I'd cleared the factory floor, but apparently not. We'll see what kind of production they got going, but things are much quieter out there today than they have been.
