Gloat, part II, and a question for Fenix .25 owners...

Our new friend Dennis (Escondido1) passed his close-out Fenix .25 over to me today. I think it's the prettiest wood I own. He put his own pics up, and I snapped a few between thunderstorms today.
So now I have a new, unintended .25 springer and no ammo.
Any Fenix .25 owners out there who'd care to recommend some pellet selections that work?

Hooray, some .25 pellets finally showed up, thanks to AoA!
I had some email responses and ordered a selection from PA, only to find they were shipped to the west coast via armadillo train, due sometime next week. The shipping was prompt but the path is slow.
In a panic I turned to the more local source (Airguns of Arizona, one state over), and they came through... thanks to Shane in CS there!
I got a tin of Rhinos just for break in, and some HN Crow Magnums. These latter are formidable looking pellets. Groups and chronies, manana. This is a nearly new gun with 30-40 shots total on it, so it will be illuminating for me. It has been frustrating to have this beauty and nothing to feed it!

Those Cometas are beautiful rifles alright. I'll be looking forward to your opinion of it.

Yes, it is an unusual blonde walnut.
Initial results were mixed yesterday. I only have 2 pellets to work with, the Milbro Rhinos and HN Crow Magnums. Neither was very good.
The 19 grain Rhinos seem very undersized, at least for this gun. They would simply drop out of the breech if the barrel was tilted up, and one sheared the skirt in the breech on closing because of this.
Velocities were all over (brand new gun) but they averaged about 629 fps. The third round detonated and went supersonic, but the rest behaved. Accuracy was terrible at 20 yards.
The Crow Mags are at the other end of the scale weight-wise, at 26.23 grains about the heaviest thing I would try in a springer. They fit like they were made for the gun, and averaged a more consistent 546 fps at the muzzle. Accuracy was slightly better but still unacceptable.
My thought on the inexpensive Rhinos was to shoot 'em up for break in purposes. I am having second thoughts about this now, since they are so loose in the breech that I am worried about piston slam. The one shown is not out of round (just a shadow) but it sure sits deeply into the breech. They just drop in there like BBs.
I might try a few more today, and certainly some more of the Crow Magnums, but I really wish my FTT and other mid-range pellets were here.
I haven't messed with trigger adjustments yet. It has a long and slightly crunchy first stage, but breaks nicely when you get to the second. Feels like something needs to be cleaned up in there. Iron sights are so-so and I haven't mounted a scope yet.
