More stuff for my "Sons" 2250!

SO after 5 agonizing days of waiting I finally got my order from PA! And thankfully the wife decided to take the kids to Ok city last night so I could make sure every thing fit right. The list of things on this oreder were the Bug Buster 3-9 ao scope leapers offset base, leapers picitanny rail and bipod. The picitanny rail DID NOT come with mounting scres of any sort like the pic showed but no big deal I dont throw any away that are good so I had about 6 differnt solutions. I went with drilling 2 small hole in the forearm right on the seam and using 2 small self taping screws. I also had to grind down the nipple that the screws went through so the base would sit flush on the forearm, was easier then trying to counter sink 2 hole just right so I dont ruin the forearm. So it went on pretty quick. The the scope and base. I really like this combo. The bug buster is and awesome little scope. Crystal clear from no kidding 10ft to as far as I could see. And add the off set mount adn I think my son will mesh perfectly now with the gun and proper eye releif. So now I have to ops check it of course. This is where the fun started.
After we shot last weekend the kids complained about how hard it was to cock with the red hammer spring from Hipac. So I threw in the green one, every body was happy. Since the green one is designed to work with UPTO 2k psi I pumped up to 2k. 214 fps! 2 dry fires ok it work right next shot didnt even make it out of the TKO break. Great how do I get it out of there? Luckily when I took the break off and shook it the pellet fell out. I shot it with out the break and the pellet bounced off my heavy foam target at 10 ft. Ok im mad now, 3 days till Christmas and I broke my sons gun. GREAT! So I drain the air takeout the spring inspect the guts cleaned out the small paint flakes from the springs and put the stock spring in back to 2k. 290 fps! In the right direction but still what did I do wrong? Then it hits me theres a weaker hammer spring and it might not be able to over come the air pressure holding the valve shut! Thank goodness for the GTA or I would have never thought of that one. you would think more psi more power. So I dry fired about 15 times and had a climb in velocity. Slowly it came up and up. Man I started to get happy. Well after several shots the velocity came up into the 400's. I stopped and checked the pressure was just at 1800 psi. Ah so now I under stand this whole sweetspot thing! So shooting shooting adn more shooting revealed the sweet spot on this with stock spring and valve is right at 1400-1500 psi. I fill to 1600 and it starts about 460 climbs to 496 was the high and back to 460 when I stopped at 25! shots adn the pressure was about 1200 psi. this was with 14.66 gr FTT pellets.
So after all that I now know to operate at 1500 starting pressure with the set up its running adn if its at 1500psi instead of 3 k psi I can now look into a boss valve! OH YEAH! just gotta figure out how to order it. no buy now button. lol Already on order from mellon air is the power adjuster and long bolt. lol man this pcp stuff is crazy addicttive! AND YOU GUYS ARE NOT HELPING! LOL
2 pics are added one of my sons set up and 2nd of my protest to her stuff in my garage! anybody that tells her the drill press in on her granite counter tops is going to get the finger!
