Didn't quite like the stain job so I sprayed it with truck bedliner, now the stock shape is great and the gun looks good too

Wow what a transformation. It looks like an all-weather stock now
Definitely has some "tactical" look to it. Good work!

Nice work Nomadic Pirate, I like the slim down look. Does she have a different feel in your hands? Weight and handling wise? Does that make her feel front heavy? How much time did this take you? Did you use the spray in bed liner in the "groove" or did you leave it as it was?
Sorry for all of the questions, I have also been thinking of slimming down my stock as well.

Wade, it's a totally different gun, after 3 days of shooting the original i couldn't take it anymore, felt like shooting a 4x4
Now is extremely comfortable and a plesure to handle and much lighter
It only took 2 days and i was shooting again

Did you use the bedliner where the wood meets the air reservoir?
