It has an interesting idea behind it Jim, I have not used these cover's yet but I would give one a try if I saw them. The best thing was the fold flat feature for me.

Might have to try one myself. I know I have problems centering my eye in the scope consistently. I'm just going to need to talk myself into $35+ for a scope cap when I use exactly 0 caps on all of my other scopes. Still might be worth a try though.

Actually, I think it really is a good and simple idea, which most of the really good ones are.
It would also ensure your ocular focus would be held in place, and the fold flat thing is definitely something that Butler Creek never bothered to do with theirs.
Can't say I like scope covers for the objective bell, since my scopes are AO.
Never really could figure out how anyone could tolerate them on that type of scope, really.

Seems like it might be of use; I like the fold-flat feature but unless this is really as great as the hype I'll hold off. I think we already pretty much do this centering to some extent just using the "picture" of the target area that we see in the scope. I think they'd probably make a lot more $$$ by selling these around $20-25 working on a much smaller margin. Hard to believe the production costs could be so high as to make a $35 price tag necessary. Maybe it is that good, but if it's not, they might know it and they're trying to re-coup their R/D costs before the %#^* hits the fan.

agreed paulie....i would buy a set or two at 15-20 but until i hear alot of people saying how great they are i'm gonna wait...i do shoot with my ball cap on so the lay flat part is very cool but...at that price i'm waiting

Maybe this would put an end to the scope levelers that folks buy and put on there scopes. If this is truly a feasible product with no down side I would be willing to buy on and try it out. Also would make an objective review on them as well. JMT

Sure is a cool concept, but I'm something of a minimalist when it comes to shooting. Took me a long time to accept glass without feeling like I was cheating. *(&^, I feel like I'm in overkill mode just owning more than one air rifle. Definitely interested to hear some reviews though.

The price isn't $35 US, it's 19 pounds as it's a UK company. So shipping will be high to get it here.

Hey I like it!  Would see that as being very beneficial to users of non-AO scope (like me).  Takes me a bit of time pulling back from the scope to glimpse the black "ghost" ring and make sure I'm centered - reducing my focus (mental) on the breathing and everyting else I'm supposed to make sure I'm doing right.  But like pgsmith said, I could make one of those myself pretty easily I would hope.  Just a cut flat plastic ring wide enough for the marks to be inside the bell attached with some double sticky tape and some flashy paint would be enough to see how much it helps..

You'd have to be able to rotate the assembly every time you adjusted the focus on the eyepiece. At my age, my eyes change from day to day- sometimes hour to hour.

Jury's still out here.  I have enough trouble with failing, changing eyesight lately, to the point I'm OCD about cant, relief, parallax...everything except taking the shot and making it count, while the opportunity still exists.

Would certainly try one, if there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee (return, no questions asked, U.S. distributor).

Isn't this the same thing as the Butler Creek flip-ups that have been around for a while?  Looks almost the same.
