So which one...Titan or Trail?

I need a new pellet rifle for hunting greys, and I am stuck between the Titan and the Trail. Which one breaks in easier, and which one is the most hassle free? Im ordering one or the other on the 13th and I really need to make up my mind. Are there more manufacturers defects in one than the other? I know the Trail has a better scope, but if the Titan is a better rifle overall then Id rather have to deal with the cruddy 4x scope. I cant really deal with a lemon rifle because I have no time to send it back to pyramyd as I need it now. Primary use is Squirrel hunting, but it needs to have great accuracy for headshots out to 30 yards consistently. If I ordered the Titan it would be from Pyramyd, and if I ordered the Trail it would be from elsewhere. Thanks for the help, and sorry for the repetitive questions, Im learning.

I have the Titan, but am getting erratic groups. I am considering going to the Benjamin trail. Where are you going to buy the Trail if you go that route?

They are both the same rifle. The Trail would the be the Deluxe version of the Titan. I see Pyramyd has the Titan in .177 now. And a lower velocity .22, 695 fps.

I've owned both. I took both apart and the Trail NP is better quality. It is also more powerful, has a weaver rail, a better scope, a fully shrouded barrel and sling with mounts.

The Titan I got didn't shoot well, maybe it was a lemon so I returned it. The Trail NP I have is still shooting great.

Ok, would it be better to buy the XL model so later on I can purchase different barrels for it? How much does a new barrel cost? Should I just buy the regular Trail?

This same question was asked on the Yellow.  Majority of responses said the Trail over the WalMart Titan.  Bit better finish and, big difference, Trail comes with sling swivels, if I'm not mistaken.  Front swivel is on the breech block.  Nice setup.

The XL models shoot 1100 in .22 and 1500 in .177 advertised. You may not want something that shoots that hard. The high velocity affects the accuracy. Those that have them may say something about that.
The Trail does come with swivels and also the sling.  I feel that the Trail is the better value. The trigger is not real bad and can live with that for awhile and it may break in to be alright. My Trail .22 shoots 654 fps average. Not broken in as yet but getting there.......
