Wow I did it. I have been looking at it for a long time now. I ordered the gun for 299 and rushed the shipping for 14 bucks will be here on Tuesday. I also ordered a 6.5 tko as talked about on this forum. Please anyone with this gun let me know what else I should get as far as mods go.
Thanks
Bryan

Congrats on the new gun! I have one and absolutely love it!
All I have on mine is a 5" tko, scope and a bipod. I guess those aren't mods but attachments. I might do some other things down the line but nothing more than trigger or stock modifications. It shoots so good right out of the box that nothing more than a TKO for neighbor friendliness is necessary.

I just ordered mine last week from wally world and ordered the tko muzzle brake.(6.5") ,another barrel band and a 3-9x40 Tasco scope.I have been reading the forum a lot and seen where you can get a power adjuster,a stronger hammer spring and was hoping the factory trigger is good enough because I have not seen the trigger mentioned much.I think we are really going to be very pleased with how this rifle shoots.I hope mine comes this week.

Two screw trigger mod and a lighter trigger spring do wonders for it....

Order up a extra barrel band from mellonair.com... and if you wanted to a long probe bolt from mellonair.com as well.. the long probe bolt seats the pellet past the transfer port giving more consistant shots..
Like on a break barrel, if you seat the pellet flush with the breech and shoot it. Then seat the next pellet further in the breech and shoot it.. you will have 2 different points of impact..
As for triggers, a super cheap and easy mod is the 2 screw mod and lighter trigger spring.. but for me I still didn't like the trigger so I upgrade ($60) to the mrod trigger, which lead me to find out the hammer in a disco can eventually break the sear in the mrod trigger because the mrod hammer is smooth and the disco hammer has a groove cut into it.. so I ordered a challenger hammer and striker.. but only look into that after trying out the stock trigger, 2 screw mod first for while since the whole challenger hammer & striker plus the mrod trigger is right about $90 bucks if I remember correctly

parts for the 2 screw mod and trigger spring, as well as the heavy hammer spring.. its cheap so might as well go ahead and order it if you plan on upping the power on the disco.. the heavy hammer spring will give you the same fps with 18gr jsb pellets as you got with 15.9gr jsb pellets and the disco being bone stock..
it gives you more energy by shooting the heavy pellets as fast as the lighter pellets

Other then the TKO to make it more backyard friendly I say just shoot it as is. Its really a great platform stock other then then crummy trigger.

Congrats on the purchase. I think you'll like it. I have a .22 and a .177 Disco and love them both. There are MANY modifications and upgrades available for the Disco. As Bob already stated, the trigger screw and spring mod is a good start. Then you can add the power adjuster and hammer spring. You can do some valve work and porting, all to get more power. Fewer shot count but more power and an adjustable range.
Then you can get a multi-shot breech from Sergio. Or just a nicer more custom breech from Crosmods. Bryan and Associates has a nice brass trigger blade that is a good replacement also. TONS of stuff available for these sweet guns. So the only limits are your imagination and wallet.
Keep us informed and post pictures of your new piece and any additions you make to it.
Happy Shooting!!!!
