I was wanting to ask some questions about PCP rifles ,like do you just have to hook the pump up to the nozzle and pump it 80 times and how many shots do you get from a full charge?Do you have to put oil in the pump? Also how is the trigger on it?

I got mine yesterday,Its awesome. I pumped it about 110 times first, then 85 to refill. I may get 20 full power shots right now. They say it should be 35. DO NOT put oil on the pump! You'll love it. It hits hard and very accurate. trigger is smooth on mine.

depends on what you consider a good trigger. there is a 3 screw mod to the original trigger that gives a lot more adjustment. it's cheap and fairly simple to do.
you can always add an mrod trigger group for a little under $60. it's fully adjustable from to a 1 stage or a mock 2 stage trigger. from single digit oz's to 4lbs. it also requires the removal/mod of a spring. and i do believe a different trigger guard with the mrod trigger. think everyone was using the crosman challenger trigger guard.

Don't sweat it for now...most of them come with triggers that are pretty decent. If it does turn out that you want a lighter/crisper trigger, can walk you though a 2-screw mod that would take about an hour to do.
At shorter range (like 30yards and less) small variations in velocity won't stop you from hitting typical plinking targets, so you can get a good number of shots per fill. Might find that filling to 2000psi and shooting to 900psi gives you 35 shots, but some at the end are going to be a bit weak and shoot a bit low.
PCPs do tend to fall off in velocity as the air pressure drops, so when shooting at longer range (or at tiny targets), will learn where the stable velocity area lives and stay in that pressure range for exacting uses. That might be from 1800 to 1100psi, and have 20 shots.
Filling it from empty is the worst....have to go from 0 to 2000psi. In normal use, filling takes much less effort as you'll stop shooting someplace about 1000psi to refill.
So just open the box, clean the barrel, fill the gun with air, and have fun. IF the trigger feels heavy or creepy, we can fix that later.

Don't pump it like a bike tire, you want smooth deliberate pumps. It takes me about 2 or 3 seconds for a single pump, the harder and faster you pump the hotter the pump will get. Heat destroys orings in the pump which will mean you will end up doing a rebuild on the pump sooner then needed
