My post I was working on disappeared, so here goes again...
velocity...screwed all the way in, then backed out counter clockwise 2 1/2 turns
striker...screwed all the way out counter clockwise, then screwed in clockwise 2 turns
hammer spring...screwed all the way out, then in clockwise 4 1/2 turns
These settings set mine to start with JSB 18.1's at about 880 fps, climbing up to 925 slowly and giving a 30 shot plus shot string over 800 fps...
Then I loaded up on heavy pellets and tried them...
upper left is eun jin 28 gn...upper right is predator big boys...2nd from top left is JSB 25 gn, 2nd from top right is H&N Rabbit Monster...and in the 2nd picture, I went ahead and shot a group on bottom left of H&N 21 gn 5.53
These settings start 14.3 gn cphps out at about 960 ft...JSB's at 880, the heavier pellets anywhere from 700 for the eun jins, up to about 750 for the lighter Rabbit Magnum...
It was fun doing this (as you all know) since it was shoot shoot shoot...
Did not write down shot strings, but may do so later...This setting with the 18 gn JSB will give me nearly 40 shots at over 800 fps and shoots very accurately out of my gun...
Maybe this might help someone else new to these puppies like I am...
Happy airgunning!!!

Thanks vet...pics are kinda hard to see for me, but all of those pellet with some scope adjustment would do just fine...seems to me that when my group is not that good or is miss about 150 percent of the time, it's me!

What was the range?.... Even the Rabbit Magnums grouped for you.... they spray all over out of every gun I have tried them in....
If you are going to be shooting at long range you will need to discard the shots outside of 4 or 5% of the maximum velocity.... If you use 5% of the 925 peak for the 18.1 gr. JSBs that would be 879 fps.... How many shots do you get from the start of your string (880 fps) until the valocity falls below 879 fps?.... That is a more realistic shot string.... A 4% variation in velocity will produce about a 1/4" change in POI at 50 yards, which is why I use 4%....

Thanks for the info there Bob...I was only shooting at 17 yds...was gonna shoot farther, but had a brain cramp...I was putting a lot more information in the post originally, but my system/theforum???locked up...I figured I was typing too slow or something and left some stuff out...
Not 100 percent on the string, but it seems to me that when it started at 880, and worked up to about 925, then came back that there were about 20 shots in that area...I'll do it again and write down every shot to be sure in the next day or two...It just amazed me to see how the different adjustments worked...I've been shooting individual pecans out of trees at 42 yards, so I am impressed with myself...lol I haven't taken any pics, but the local squirrel population hates to hear that faint "ping", cause they know one of their own has bit the bullet...I've found that the gun will shoot any pellet if adjusted for it that I've tried...only one it really hates is the RWS Superpoints...shotgun pattern...speed might be too fast...
Anyway, thanks for the input!
