New member here looking for feedback

First off let me say Hello. I have a (as far as I can tell) a 1960 Benjamin Franklin model 312 that I got as a partial trade for doing some work on a car. The guy told me that he had an old BB gun he would throw in and my first thought was some cheap worn out daisy from the 90's or something. I was pleasantly surprised when he brought this out. So far, after hours of research I've not seen any one of these that is offered with the hard case. Just curious about value and condition and whether or not it was wise to accept this as a partial payment or not. Any feedback would be great. Also thank you for accepting me.

It shoots great. It appears to be basically untouched actually. I'm a 2A advocate and have a small collection but air rifles have always had a soft spot in my heart as it was the first kind of "gun" I ever received. I've had plenty of others over the years. Lots .177 caliber pellet rifles a couple of .22 caliber pellet rifles and if my memory serves me a .26 caliber which was an absolute monster.
Can anyone tell me how to post pictures? I tried uploading to Imgur and copying the URL but it doesn't seem to be working.

Welcome!  Not sure what you mean by 'hard case'.  As far as value, these are pretty common still, but vary tremendously in condition.  A shooter with nice wood and most of the black intact might fetch $125-$150, mint with a box would be more, ugly but functional maybe $75-$100.  I may be a bit behind on value, but sounds like it cost you a little time, not out of pocket.
