Never been mounted.  Fits Crosman barrels with 0.435" OD, mostly vintage rifles.  I never used it and probably never will, so off to someone else it goes.  Comes with allen wrench.  This fits Sheridans and Benjamins and won't put pressure on the barrel/tube joint so it won't contribute to barrel separation.  Allows for mounting a scope or red dot or laser or whatever on a 3/8" dovetail.  $45 shipped conus.
