Taipan Mutant valve seal needed

Hi all,

I need a replacement valve seat for my Mutant. Haven't been able to find one online. Does the Veteran's seat fit? Or can be it easily modified?. I don't have a lathe.
I have the dimension of the Mutant's valve seat. If someone can post the dimensions of the Veteran's valve (either version) it would very helpful. Any idea/suggestions would be really appreciated.

FWIW,

Marek, from Taipan,  confirmed that the valve seal of the Veteran can be used in the Mutant. As today, it is  available directly from Taipan and also from Talon Tunes Airguns.

Ok. So, If I put the Veteran valve poppet in my Mutant, would I notice any difference in performance?

Well the throat diameter of the seat changes across the calibers .177 to .25, typically the poppet head diameter may follow suit ?
Just check the O.D. of replacement to one failed, smaller is bad, larger won't flow as well but should work fine.

My Mutant's poppet diameter is 7mm. The Veteran's is 8mm. It should be fine, then. According to TAG page, the valve seal fits all calibers.
