Shooting Dandelions with the Gamo Magnum GR.

I just came in from shooting the .22 caliber Gamo Magnum GR rifle.
I had not shot it since last winter around February or March and I thought I would check zero on the rifle with the warmer temps.
The rifle had been sighted in with Gamo Redfire 15.4 grain hunting pellets so that is what I used.
Previously, last winter, I had zeroed it in at 40 yards
The rifle has a Hammers 3-9x40 AO Mild Dot scope on it.
I dialed it up to 9 power and set the range at 35 yards.
I braced the rifle on a door frame and found a dandelion, that was all puff balled and at the tree line, to shoot at.
I carefully squeezed of a single shot and puff, dandelion fuzz went everywhere.
On close examination I found I had hit the dandelion dead center.
The best I could tell was that dandelion was about the size of a nickel to a quarter.
Ok the scope is right on, good enough for me. Time to quit shooting.
I quit while I was ahead. That won't happen again. I'm quite sure of that.

Sounds like everyone and everything is doing its part.  That is a very small target at 35 - 40 yards!  
My airgun buddy down in Louisiana has a pecan tree that makes silver dime size pecans.  That is what he like to use for target practice.  
I like Starlings and English Sparrows.  <--- Reactive targets!

Hi Mike.

That was a lucky shot.
Normally, this time of year, I would be eliminating chipmunks.
The last one that I have see was around the first of April.
I shot it with the Stoeger off of the top of my wood pile.
I don't seem to have any Starlings or English Sparrows.
