Not totally new

I'm not absolutely new here. I just lurked a lot. I started with the Yellow and followed Charlie here when he started. There were only 100 or so members when I joined the first time. I was here when the Yellow was essentially "At War" with Charlie and Gene. Now where are they ?
After some format changes and required re-joining, then all the hassles with Capcha, stronger passwords ect, I got lost.
Life kept me worse than broke and busy as all heck trying to keep the home fires burning. I still work 7 days a week (2 jobs ), as I have for nearly 30 years. Now retirement is on the horizon and I will be able to cut back to just one part-time job.
Back in those days I really wanted to start airgun tuning, just for myself mostly and that info was everywhere. Now everyone wants to be a professional tuner and information that was plentiful, has been taken down and deemed to be Trade Secrets. I'm slowly gathering all that info once more. Thankfully a fair amount of the info Charlie shared so freely on his site, has been archived here. You can only imagine my joy finding it here after I found it was no longer on the CDT site or at least I couldn't find it.
I plan to do a lot of squirrel hunting when I retire and hope to do a good deal of that with an airgun.
Now I gotta get some Airguns to tune and a little equipment. Reading through the site I discovered or was reminded of Hatsan refurbs. Then there some mention of free shipping sales. I'm watching them close. I like the Airtact ( mostly for the price ) But can't decide which caliber. Probably will get one of each. IF they put up some Strikers, The waiting is over.
