Does it feel like the trigger on the P3/HW40?

The P3/HW40 is the basis for the Beeman p-17, correct?
If so, then they're not the same. I have both a p-17 and an HW30s. They're both wonderful triggers but they don't feel exactly the same. In my opinion the Rekord is just a tiny, hard-to-describe bit better. Maybe it's German vs. Chinese craftsmanship?

My understanding is that the HW40 and P3 are both made by Weihrauch. The barrel of my P3 has "HW40" and "DE" imprinted on it and the entire gun is made in Germany.
Supposedly the P17 is a copy of the HW40/P3 licensed to Beeman but not made by Weihrauch.
That doesn't answer the question of whether the HW40/P3 trigger feels like the Rekord trigger.

They both "feel" good, but in my opinion not the same - the Rekord is smoother.
Also the working parts are not similar - see attached exploded views

I have several examples of both those types of triggers. They are similar in that they can have a light, distinct two-stage feel if set up that way.
The Rekord trigger is one of my favorites, including PB triggers, for a springer it's superlative.
Disclaimer: Views expressed are my own personal opinion, YMMV, I do not own any $1K+ springers, no one cares what I say or do except the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

Thanks! I figured the triggers were not identical, or else the pistol specs would tout having the Rekord. However, that the light two-stage feel of the one on my P3 is also present with the Rekord-equipped rifles is something to put on the "pros" side when evaluating guns.
