no more 52's ?

I have an RWS 52 with a (&^$%(*&^% sweet barrel shroud that shoots quarters at 50 yds and several squrrrels at 70.  Its a sweet rifle.  I was browsing around the online airgun stores and noticed there dont seem to be any??  Did they discontinue it?  Just wondering.

ya it might be! I know not to long ago their was a distributor who still had some 52's nib for sale!

No more this side of the pond.  Not sure if they are importing to Canada.  Not to fear.  They come up all the time on the classifieds.  I've always thought that stock was a ton better looking than the plain Jane 48.  Dropping it made no sense.

Yup, gone, but they were just a mod 48 with fancy stock, gun and inner works are identical.

Having owned both ( I still have the 52) I do prefer the stock of the M52. The extra little bit of LOP makes a big difference (to me any way) in how it feels/shoulders.

Umarex decided their profit margin was not enough and they were not moving enough of them so they dropped it

I love my tuned 52. I read about a new carbine version ,but haven't seen it on this side of the pond.

Nearly $450?  There are plenty of good, used 52's out there, some tuned, for less than that, shipped.
