Crosman Red Dot Reflex Sight

A few years ago I bought a Crosman A4-P and it came with a Red Dot Sight that had two brightness levels.
I have owned about a dozen dot sights through the years including an Aimpoint.
I found that none of them were bright enough for use in the Carolina sunshine.
Then came this sight and finally I had a sight that gave me a bright, well defined dot that is visible on the brightest days.
So I wanted to buy (at least) one more and Crosman wants $40 for one.
I recently found one on the 'bay for $25 and snatched it up.
The seller doesn't have any more in stock, but if he gets more, I can definitely recommend this sight.

Is it the square one? I have one but I don't currently have it mounted. I carried two batteries. One fresh and one older. Swapping them gave me four illumination levels quasi conveniently. it's the only red dot I can think of that has an 11mm rimfire mount. The quality on them is sketchy with the placement and focus of the dot being a complaint. They were worth the $10-$15 retail price when new but $40 even now is way out of line. I hang on to mine because it has its uses. If I saw a new one for under $20 I'd grab it.

That must be newer model. Dumb to make it a picatinny mount when so many air guns are 11mm. Oh well everything has to be tacticool these days.

If you watch for sales, I got all three of mine for just under $100 each.
