I'm Robert currently 36 years old with a son that is one year from being 13. We both enjoy shooting our pellet and bb rifles. Reading long forums is nothing new to myself as I am an auto mechanic raised by an auto mechanic. Technical service bulletins are nothihg more than professional personal dealership forums and recommendations lol. My purpose of attending this group is to educate myself and my son by reading information from others past experiences and also if needed to share my own experiences in return as to properly and effectively upgrade and maintain proper functionality of our rifles safely. Knowledge is power. Nobody knows everything about everything and there has been times even being a mechanic familiar with particular repairs from previous experiences have taught me new information that i didnt believe to be relevant but in fact are. More often than not simple things get overlooked and another opinion or advice from more experienced people is a savior 100%. Thanks all in advance, interested in reading about some nitro piston upgrades for my benjamin Titan NP .22 as it was my dad's that was given to me before passing, it's not leaving my possession so I would like to make it an awesome mint gun that is 1of1 and unique to wow anyone who sees it lol

Thanks for the thoughtful intro, which got me in a philosophical kind of reflective place. Thanks for that!
Lots of benjamin threads for you to explore. The nitro piston has a good reputation compared to some others. Regarding maintenance, benjamins like the titan benefit from some end user qc. Often some attention to piston and breach seals as well as relubing and deburting can meke a difference if you have the time. Trigger work can make these better shooters too.
That said, if you're havin fun with the boy shootin your gun from your dad, you might already be set!
