Williams peep sights

Hi guys, I picked a new HW30 N. Does anyone here have any experience with the Williams peep sight FP-AG-TK. I’ve read where they shoot high even when bottomed out. I want to keep this rifle open sight for 10 meter bullseye and 25 yard silhouette shooting out in the back yard. So if anyone has aged a Williams perp sight to their HW30, how did work out.

I have that sight on my HW35.
It has been on the R1.
I have not had that issue but then again, my barrels do not droop.
Some do.

I used one, don't remember the model number (it's in the shed somewhere).  It worked very well and was not set to low, accounted for a lot of starlings and sparrows.  I quit using it when my eyes got to old.

They usually work fine. I had two of the same model w/o the TK (target knobs) on a Hw30s and 50s.

I eventually sold them because I like the more compact and robust Tech sights. I did a full write up on them here.

I've never had a problem with the FP-AG series on any barrel-cocking springer.

Based on Bayman's old post I bought a Tech Sight and like that too. My only complaint is that it's physically more difficult to adjust the settings, and to swap aperture sizes. If you get one, definitely go for the optional aperture set and adjustment tool.

I'll toss this out just for the heck of it, the old Weihrauch or Anschutz match diopter sights fit perfectly. Those are getting harder to find and rather pricey these days, but the extra precision and ability to take interesting accessories is useful for more exacting target work.

I had that sight on my HW 30 Laminate and it worked fine. The stock configuration made it tough for me to get low enough to comfortably see through it so I ended up scoping it. I shot a lot of grasshoppers with the Williams on it though. That sight is currently on my RWS 45 and it is perfect for that rifle.

Hi guys,
I've put the Williams peeps on all my air rifles except the R1 which sports a 4× Beeman Short Scope.
The short distances at which I shoot (plink) make the peeps work better for me and forces me to concentrate on hold a trigger control.
I've never had a problem with getting a good zero. 20 -25 yards is my maximum yard distance.

Thank you all so much for the replies. I ordered a set and will mount it when it gets here. Can’t wait , the only iron sight rifles I own are my Daisy 853’s I’m hoping to use my hw30 for sniping little plastic army dues at 25 yards off my deck out back. I’m really excited to get this project up and running. Thanks again for all the great information.
