B3 spring options

What are some good spring options for the B3 rifles besides the ones sold by Archer?  I was looking at the ARH site and it looks like a BSA mentor spring may be a decent replacement.  The Archer springs are made for these but they are not as nice as ARH springs onlooking for a decent option.

My brand new, unused yet replacement spring for my B3 is 10'' in length (unset), has 36 coils, has 0.118'' (3 mm) wire and has an ID of 0.486''. You can provide these specs to a reputable manufacturer/seller to get a new spring. I don't have a favorite one, but I know ARH and a couple others have a very good name on here. HTH.

The B3 is based on the old BSA Meteor.  A Meteor replacement spring should work.

Thanks for the input,  I think I will give an ARH meteor spring a try, the dimensions are similar.

You can order a spring for a Crosman storm and cut it down to 36 coils or what ever you want.

The storm spring sounds like a good option, may try that thanks!  I picked up a pile of the B3 rifles and am going through each of them which has been meaning new seals and springs to get them up to snuff.

Here is my standard power plant for a B3. Crosman spring (38 coils), custom spring guide, steel top hat and a poly. O-ring piston seal conversion.

I been told Crosman Optima spring and spring guide will fit.
