As kids, we used to have spud gun fights with the neighbor kids,
all shots were below the knees, or it was a group Azz whipping party,
for those that failed to follow the rules.

In Klamath Co, Ore was spud country, that was all they grew in the fields around
K Falls/Malin, never a shortage of ammo etc...

Grand Pa made rubber band guns, rifles and pistols/sling shots using those good stretchy Red colored tube bands, G-Pa was a very outstanding wood worker.
I seen G-Pa thump many Blue Grouse, for dinner, when hunting Deer/Elk.
Those were the Good Olde days....
