Introducing my "Rocktitude" .177 rifle.
It's origin is the story of two rifles and two other members. Coincidentally, both of them have "1" in their name.
Eeler1 put a Fortitude in the classifieds some time back. I ended up it's owner for a very good price and Jon is great to interact with. The rifle was basically new except Eeler1 installed a custom delrin transfer port.
Rocker1 responded to my classified looking for a Disco parts gun. David had a disco that didn't hold air, but if it's a parts gun then I am the luckiest guy in town. And apparently I am. My original intention posting the ad was to get a barrel for my 362 anniversary gun that can't hit bunk due to, in my opinion, the barrel. The outcome of my search was a trade with Rocker1 resulting in the nicest stock and finest trigger I own, arguably.
The story continues in avator fashion with the birth of a lego gun to be proud of: the "Rocktitude".
I removed the Fortitude stock and trigger, both of which I had already modified to my liking. It is difficult neither to fantasize about how much better the gun will be nor to doubt letting go of your personally modified components. This process did not take long after a couple days of tinkering around and shooting. I enlarged the transfer port are slightly by drilling and filing carefully. Attaching the stock was easy. Learning its ergonomic value took some shooting. On the bench and off hand, it is very comfortable, maneuverable, and stable. The foregrip especially stands out. The trigger from Rocker1's Disco is after a slight modification to the internals the best trigger I have. I shoot the T06 and reckord trigger nearly every day.
There is more to write on this but a baby is getting fussy. I will return to it soon enough with.a pic. Pardon the interruption.
