I don't know if it's the site or my phone.

It seems with all systems trying to implement AI, everything's getting dumber and dumber.

Examples. I'm typing and hit comma, the phone puts in a period. Go back and change it, it may do it again. Word suggestions, almost always wrong so keep typing, eventually it figures it out and it's on top in every form imaginable except the one you were typing. I mean, a third grader could have figured it out from context. COME ON, FOR THE LOVE OF MIKE!

Then there's "screen" size. You can pull it down ... IF you blow up the screen enormous, then put it back (size) after. Go back, you guessed it, small edit window default is back.

And making a correction?  No arrows to move the "cursor ". And see the space before ". Nuts, I'll just leave it.

I'm sure there's more, I just don't recall. AI? Where's the off switch!

I don't think it's GTA, despite the presence of other odd behaviors (from the software, that is).

My IPhone 16 pro is like that.
My 8 year old Galaxy S9 is much better. 
The Samsung Galaxy seems to always guess pretty well as I type.

Something also sorta strange ....
The more AI dumb's people down allowing less known & retained knowledge in ones head ....  then,  as We all get older and this happens opposed being we forget stuff we once knew becoming dumber.

There appears a lack of balance in today world as tech would have you be Devise smart ( In using it ) yet overall retained knowledge stupider than we all once were.  Or something like that

Try doing math in your head or even with a pencil and paper.

When on my Lathe or Mill do that frequently .... Long math or dimensional configuration calculations .. No friggen way !!!

Yep, back when I was doing a lot of machining I could do that in my head but I haven't done any machining in a decade. I have to use a calculator for the simplist math.😡😡 Use it or lose it. Heck, I could even do trig for a little while.

  Not no use for AL I didnt ask for any part of it but yet they  force it on us on my laptop keeps changeing  home page, on my phone  thats another storey. Maybe we need ARNOLD. LOL!!!

Part is the phone. Go into setting and turn off "Auto-Correction".

I think you're right Rich, that's probably the off switch.

I reckon I was hoping to salvage some of the functionality. Silly me...

It reminds me of Miami in the 70's. Last American to leave please turn off the lights. Better to put the phone back into the stone age than deal with it like it is now.

In settings go to apps and turn off what you don't want or use. I turned off a bunch. I did the same on my tablet and laptop.
Don't do auto updates... choose your updates.

And don’t get me started on Siri, or her evil sister Alexa for you non-iphone people.
