Guess I have some internet searching to do. Was not aware it was gone.
Knew they did the modular "system" a few years back that looked iffy.
Have accumulated 3 and think like all the Diana air rifles I have they are top drawer.

I was not aware the 34 had returned. There is a newer gun which uses the same model designation but they add EMS after the model number to differentiate the two. It's a little confusing unless one is aware of the changes. They should probably have used a different model number. I have a 34, a 36, and a 38. They are essentially all the same gun. The 34 EMS is a different animal completely though it is also a break barrel pellet rifle - probably even higher quality, just very different.

As per the 2025 Diana Catalog above,
The 34 Classic is indeed back in production, alongside the 34 EMS.
Whether the current 34 has all the same features they used to have, or sport some tweaks in the vein of the EMS, cannot be said off the info gleaned from the catalog. I suspect it's the old 34, with angled breech block etc.
The 34's success for decades was down to plenty of bang for the buck. How the current 34 pricing will go, especially compared to the EMS, will factor heavily into the sales.

Perusing the 2025 catalog it does appear the 34 Classic has returned. It does not appear on the Pyramyd website yet.

I see they revamped the 350 as well, I hope they fixed the latch rod issue with the piston while they were at it🙄
