Need advice about buying a Huben GK1 please.

Hi everyone,
Ok so I was all fired up and ready to pull the trigger (no pun intended) on picking up a new Huben GK1. While talking to a couple of dealers and asking which of the three versions they had and which one was the best, one person I spoke to told me that the original Hubens were pretty solid guns, however a while back in an attempt to save money on production Huben switched out some of the metal parts for plastic parts and now the guns don't last, and even worse you can't get parts for them. If you have a failure out of warranty you have to buy a new gun.
Can anyone confirm or deny this for me please, and if that it's not the case, could you tell me which of the three versions of the GK1 is the best? Also how do I distinguish between the three versions. As far as I can tell it's by the pattern on the carbon fiber of the tank, but I don't know which is which.
Thank you in advance.

Hey Tater, thank you. Much appreciated! I should have thought of that myself, but like I said in my new member intro I've been out of the game for 10 years. So I might need a couple of course corrections lol but I'll get back in the groove. Till then, thank you for your patience and good looking out. 😎👍

Mike, thank you, I'll look into krazcool. 😎👍
Miksatx, you're just the person I want to talk to you then! I'm curious what you prefer between the .22 and .25? I want a GK1 to use at less than 25 yards to dispatch predators going after our chickens, like raccoons, bobcats, coyotes, etc. At that distance I think the .25 would be best, but I don't have a lot of hunting experience and someone was telling me the other day that I'd be better off with .22.
So my questions are, which caliber would you prefer for that job, and which caliber do you prefer in general and why between the .22 and.25?
Thank you in advance,
Mike aka TheBBA

Hi Mike I'm with James on the .22 lots more .22 pellets to choose from. I've taken raccoon with my gk1 .22, don't know bout coyote think you would need a brain shot for DRT lol. I've dropped lots of fox squirrels with head shots at 25 yds with my .22. do you do all your maintenance on your other airguns?

True, and I am a fan of.22 for that very reason as well as more shots per tank, but I really want it to be capable of taking down the bigger predators like bobcats and coyotes. So I'm leaning towards the .25 for that reason. Maintenance? Cleaning and oiling, yes. Repairs, no.

UPDATE... I just wanted to let all of you know that thanks to all of your guys help, I've been able to not only make a solid decision, but one that I am confident in. I've decided to get the GK1 in .25 and I'm buying it from Kelly at Krazcool.
All of your replies we're very helpful and Mike's recommendation to call Krazcool really sealed the deal. After talking to Kelly at Krazcool on the phone for a few minutes, we realized we knew each other! lol As I said in my new member intro post, I've been out of the loop for about 10 years, but I've sold a couple of air guns since then and it turns out that one of the buyers was Kelly. About 8 years ago I sold him my Piper Precision Gatling BB gun. We had such a good transaction and great conversations that it didn't take long for us to remember each other. Needless to say it was great to reconnect with him and I'm definitely buying my GK1 from him.
Just so all of you know, Kelly has been in this a long time and is very knowledgeable, but more importantly he is a stand-up guy! I don't vouch for people easily, but I have no problem vouching for Kelly. If you're ever looking to pick up a new Huben, definitely get a hold of Kelly at Krazcool.com!
Thank you all again so much for your advice, opinions, and links, and the special thank you to Mike - in Socal for referring me to Krazcool. You guys rock! 😎👍
