Has anyone tried any parts orders lately? Are the prices about the same?
Think I might have to order a 2100 barrel shroud & possibly barrel to fix some sight issues.

The parts I have on order since early January were at regular prices. I didn’t notice any big increase in prices.

Well, I checked again today they still don't have many parts for 2100/ Legacy 1000s because they're made in china, no ETA on when or if any of those will be readily available. Seemed like you could still get 362 parts though.

I requested information on some parts for my Marauder .25. I have not heard back from them yet. I will post when/if I hear from them in the next couple of days.

I am concerned Crosman is going to be on a serious decline due to the new ownership.

I am waiting for parts ordered prior to the shutdown for moving.

Just discovered my credit card has been charged, but still no parts in hand. Will be calling again on Monday.

I continue "to be right" that change is more often than not bad.

Does anyone know if dealers are receiving Crosman guns that are being manufactured in NY. I think the original plan was Marauders and Marauder pistol’s were to still be manufactured in NY. Or is manufacturing shut down?

Anyways, I was trying to get the parts to fix up two 2100s with different issues. The first one was 'American made' but the bolt never closed completely, I was pretty sure it was feed throat, the barrel end wasn't quite wide enough to push the bolt in all the way seated and so the bult would get stuck and not close completely. I decided to take it all apart now (what a nightmare it is trying to get these back together) but after trying it with a drill and then a dremel, I was able to open up the barrel throat enough to get the bolt in fine. Reassembled after a battle and was pretty happy. Oiled her up and did some test shooting... something didn't feel quite right pumping, it was a bit stiffer than it should be. I thought it might be a bad pump cup, but decided to take the piston out anyways and just have a look, polish it up a bit. And of course it was the tightest roll pin I've ever taken out of a Crosman -maybe that was related to the pump difficulty? Polished and lubed it up again, put it back together, now it seems to be pumping up fine with minimal effort.
But now one of the roll pins holding the arm has a little play and the forend wobbles... can't have that.

Took some plumbers tape and wedged it around the pin, seems to be stiffer but may explore a better fix later. Long day working on it with ups and downs but now one of the 2100s seems pretty decent. The other one is chinese made and has sights off about 3-4 degrees which bothers me but I think the pump tube was drilled off center, another common flaw.

I had no idea the 2100's were that much trouble! I got "stuck" with one ... how can you tell if it's made in China?

Takes 3 hands to put them together. I use drill bits to help guide them. Been awhile since I had one apart.

UPDATE: In my email this morning, I had a reply to my request of March 21. I was given a telephone number [800-724-7486]. The person I spoke with told me the parts I needed were due to be delivered to the warehouse in the next couple of days. Further, he said it would be better not to do the 'back order' thing. So I will call back later this week when the parts are actually in stock. He gave me his name and extension #.

Another UPDATE: Today, I ordered parts that will have to be manufactured. I am supposed to get an email with a tracking number when the parts are shipped. The lady said "it will be a while" before I get the parts.
But that is okay; because I don't usually hunt until September. Also, I can use the little Stormrider that brought down the last squirrel of the past season.

I placed an order this morning for some 2100 stuff. Most of what I wanted was in-stock. They are still waiting on some parts that are made overseas now.
I was told my order would arrive in about a week.

If you look back on Reply #13, the date is April 7.

Hope they aren't blowing smoke. I'd rather just have the facts, if it takes a while so be it.

I was told that the valve had to be manufactured and it would take a while. No mention as to how long a while might be.
