Hello all. Im new here and just purchased a 1977XS for my son on his 8th birthday to upgrade from his first. I grew up with two, what i believe to be 880 Daisy's. One was much older and much heavier with more steel parts and then the newer (late 90s) plastic version.
I knew this gun to be a great plinker and got me many squirrels growing up, but the 1977xs has been less accurate. So, the engineer in me came to see what the world of fun people have done to make this rifle better.
Im just your next father passing on memories and traditions to his offspring. Looking forward to chats and improvements!

Many of us here cut our teeth on the 880. My first was the Model 25. The 880 was the one that got me back into airguns in 2013.
