Yesterday I was at the Honda shop in Vacaville, CA using their free WI-FI.
I clicked on the AA Classifieds tab to check it the latest adds.

“This site is blocked. Weapons”

I wonder who there internet provider is?

depending how big the store/shop's network is, they can do that themselves without the provider

I don't find that strange at all. When I used the internet connection at work all that kind of stuff was blocked... even on my personal devices. They even blocked all types of social media such as FaceBook.

It ain't about the law.. it's about the dealerships personal opinions. Think "parental lock".   
If I want to grant you access to my internet connection I have the right to control how you use it.

Many public wifi will block porn, guns, hunting and gambling sites. Nothing new .
I find it more asinine that BassPro doesn't allow carried firearms into their stores......that sells a plethora of firearms.....in the stores

Turners and Sportsmans allow CCW in their stores. AFA filtering content, at work we had a network box that all outbound URL's were ran through and it filtered whatever you wanted to filter and would even peak into SSL traffic of so set.
