AV Avenger repair kits

AV Avenger repair kit including poppet, reg, hammer spring and orings for .22 and .25 are back in stock at PA.

I kinda got lucky when my .25 Avenger sprung a small leak. PA was out of stock of these kits so I ordered the oring kit from Capt' Oring at about a 3rd of the cost.
It came with all the orings and a chart that shows the location of each with a size match diagram. I was able to fix the leak by replace only 3 of the easy to get to orings. So I still have the remainder of the kit. Now I also know the sizes of the ones I replaced and I know where to get them.

Seems that it just had more pressure shrink than I expected. It settled at 1800 from initial 3600 and sat, so charged back up to 3500 and see how it does tonight.

It settled at 3k last night, and remained there 16 hours later. That being said, still disappointing when Pinty didn't drop a hair over that time.

In that case it’s probably fine now.  I think what Bill was getting at was the initial pressure loss was far too much to be attributed to cooling down.

Usually when an O-ring seal leaks, it will continue to leak and/or get worse.  They almost never self heal, so to speak.

However a poppet will sometimes leak, particularly when new, but then “iron in” to the valve seat a little better after being cycled some number of times, and then seal 100%.  Hopefully that was all it was.

I agree, just hoping it really has settled out and behaves. I'm ready to take its shots.

Yeah, I'd run it awhile to see if it either it settles in and a few fills or gets worse.

Yep, that's too much psi loss to just be a cool down.
