Why not? You would have to significantly rise the breech in order to have room for the shroud to fit without touching the air tube. The design of the hammer and pin in the disco does not work very well with this. The additional height of the hammer pin and the resulting leverage point moving higher causes the hammer to tilt inside the tube resulting in galling. IMHO too much additional engineering/work for the perceived benefit.
OK now I understand, but not sure how you are going to secure it. Are you are going to 3d print a "bushing" to go around the tube and the barrel? Get rid of half of the stock? Remember the gauge block is just about directly under the barrel where it goes into the breech. Then you are going to have to raise the scope mounts up.
Also to get the noise reduction the end will have to all be sealed except a small exit hole. How do you propose filling the gun?
I suppose you are after the unique look as well as quieting down the report of the Disco. But if it's just quieting down the gun is your goal you could go a step farther and make a repeater out of the gun by adding an aftermarket repeating receiver like I did with a Maximus build that I did. I used the GMAC but if I had it to do again I would go with the Exclusive repeating receiver with the side lever. It's not very cost effective because of the price of these parts.. especially the receiver. The receiver significantly raises the barrel and gave me plenty of room to add a Fortitude shroud without inletting the Boyds thumbhole stock. And as you would imagine, I also had to cut and crown the 26" Maximus barrel to fit the length of the shroud.I ended you with a 2k max fill repeater gun that I could have just bought a Fortitude and had money left over. But I did it "because I could". Which is likely why you want to do this project.

Right you are Bill about the repeating receiversI've been actively searching for one with a WTB add in the forums. If you, or anyone else has one available I would sure like to know.ThanksEdward
