I came home tonight to find two coons in the yard. Snow is finally melting!
Brought out the Kratos and firmly planted 4 shots at 75 yards..saw the #hit fly.. all proud of myself. So I walked the walk for the glory.
Then the reality set in...they were new spring mole hills.
Swear to God they looked like coons through the scope!

It only took me about 3 weeks to notice that I was shooting .22's out out of a .25 barrel. I was shooting off a rest over a crony so there was no barrel tilting involved, until one day there was. It could have taken a lot longer if I hadn't tilted the barrel, But it did give me a lot of incentive to do things to get the velocity up to where I thought it should be.

Each blooper on the 140 I'm trying to reseal has a one-upmanship grudge with the last.

Put the hammer spring in the valve, dissassemble, put back bolt before breech screw, dissassemble, can't drive rear pin with punch, use big c-clamp. Not holding air, reason pin so hard to drive? Plug upside down (dissassemble).

Ordered an arbor press. Amazon, no, no free returns and cheaper on eBay. Ordered from eBay, had discount "coupon", applies at payment. Didn't. Cancel saved press from Amazon basket, says "free returns".

More like a newbie mistake than a blooper, soon after I got the P3, I loaded and cocked it, slid the safety switch off, and realized that one of the sawhorses supporting the base for my target needed to be moved slightly.

You can guess what I forgot to do as I held the gun in one hand and moved the sawhorse. Luckily, the pellet just nicked a tiny part of the sawhorse and didn't harm anything. That trigger is light...lesson learned about ALWAYS put the safety on if not in firing position.

We used to shoot airguns way into the night. One night we just got really tired and ready for bed so we put all the stuff away and went to bed. On the next outing I picked the break barrel (Crosman Vantage type gun "Blaze XT") and popped the barrel open. Apparently I never unloaded the gun and the barrel slammed open all the way and then slammed shut, the gun fired sending the pellet through the tin roof on the deck.
I was amazed that there was no damage to the gun like bent barrel or damaged breech seal.
Lesson learned.

 OK, here's mine. Up in the barn overden waiting for rats that come in through the barn from outside. I see one right as it pops through the door, line up & squeeze the Avenger trigger , pop ,the rat acts as if nothing happens ! Two more shots and ?? Lift head and see I put a nice groove in the beam in front of me!!
DUH, The line of sight vs. the line of bore ,Dummy!

I shot a hole through one of my multi compartment pellet organizers like that.

   A very similar “ wrong ammo blunder , “ but for a powder burner . Delete if inappropriate. !
Many years ago, when I used to hunt , myself & 2 friends went deer hunting. I had a 30-06 & a .243.  Yep. I took the 30-06 rifle & a mag with ammo for the .243. It was a 2 hour drive there so I let the other guys hunt while I just watched that nice Buck walk within 25 ft of me.
