1st Mouse Down!

This isn't the mouse I have been watching at the feed station, this one was closer, just outside the fence at around 35 yards.  He was quite content enjoying some sunflower seeds when his little world exploded!  To sat it set him back a spell is understating the facts! 



He got the privilege of being introduced to the .25 FX Dreamline Classic!  Again, a bit of overkill for a mouse, but that dang Dreamline seems to always hit its target!   It was also already zeroed to 35 yards, so it took away the guess work!

Poor guy still had a sunflower seed in his mouth!

There were two mice at the feed station tonight, but I'm sure they will be back another evening, for another shooting session!

 Paul , you sure sent that guy for a ride, too bad it couldn't appreciate it! And back to threading the needle. Good that wasn't your .30 as you might have
 clipped the wire w/ those "mortars" ! Looks like another shooting window may be in order

 Paul , I did get out a bit this am at the dairy . I got two HOSPs , one off the silo at the top off the ladder ( 50+yrds. )& one off the barn roof vent. Happy w/ the
 Stoeger Bullshark's performance. It's spitting the 18 gr JTS out at about 900 fps.

Paul! Excellent shot and video! Boy, I didn't know Florida mice could...FLY! Don't you just luv it when they "pose" for a "shot" like in the movies!? 😂👍

Thank you Marty!  Shooting through the fence is a challenge, which is the reason I added the portal for the feed station, but it's a little easier when they are just past the fence.  They still have to present enough of themselves to hit though!  This shot took a bit of moving the tripod back and forth to get a clearer shot!

Congrats on those two HOSPs!  At 50 yards, they are pretty small targets also!

Thank you kindly, Randall!  We have lots of flying things here in Florida!  Flying Squirrels, Cockroaches, Iguanas flying out of trees when it freezes and now, flying mice!

If it makes you feel any better, being quickly snuffed out by a pellet has to be better than the slower death of being impaled by predatory teeth.
