Broken cocking/loading gate on a Crosman 2200

Have an otherwise mint crosman 2200. Went to load a pellet and the cocking lever just slides back with no resistance, and the loading gate won't open. My guess would be something plastic sheared off. Would an assembly from a newer 2100 work as a replacement?

I have a couple of these as well,  buy with confidence, they're nice bolts with an O-ring like they should've had from the start

Ron does good work.  I have one of his brass probes on my 2100 and the 2200.  They really do increase velocity.

Thanks for pointing me in Ron's direction. Hope to have a couple of his setups on the way shortly. I'm sure the assembly on the other 2200 I have that still works is on borrowed time.
