I'm looking at the HW35E and I've noticed some of the stocks are checkered on the forearm and some have the grooves, is the current stock the one with the checkering and is that what I'd get from Krale? These rifles are so attractive, I'm getting a .177 I don't really have a way to post pictures showing the different style stocks, I was hoping some of you more experienced guys/gals could help me. I see that Krale's current HW35E listing image shows the grooved forearm. I would send them an email and ask your very question. They are very good at responding.

Krale contacted me this morning, they have the checkered forearm versions, here's the pic they sent me. Thanks guys👍

Well, prices have jumped in the last five years or so I see, but if that is a walnut stock, I would jump on it.

I love all of my Weihrauch, but on my top three short list of my favorites is my 1971 HW35 Luxus.

Buy it!! And find a nice sling for it.

Would be curious to see the difference between then and now, but I'll never let go of my HW35L.

All HW35e have a walnut stock.

The grooved one is the older version.

The new 35’s have the same gigantic logo carved into the stock like all of the other Weihrauch’s.

Hate to sound ugly, but the newer styles stocks not so good!!! Cheapens to whole look of the rifle imo. There I said what I said.

It doesn't matter, Krale's payment system won't accept my card anyway, this after talking with them THREE times on the phone and them sending me multiple payment links..,.I"M OVER IT😬

+1 on that. I have to alert my bank every time I make a payment to another Country. Can't tell you how many times or how many different Countries I've had to do that process.

Try that at least once before you give up. Call your bank (phone number on the back of your credit card).

It will be worth the trouble if that makes it work!

Well, sorry Wes. I've purchased many items from Krale and have never had an issue with either they, nor payment issues.

In fact, one of Krales members personally stashed away and then sent to me a special HW30 stock.

I think there lays beneath this a very simple solution, but I can't discern what it may be.

I would keep trying somehow if you really want the HW35E.

Back in the day I bought quite a bit of stuff from a German auction site, and typically did payment via direct bank transfer. The bank will charge a fee for that, but it might be worth looking at.
