Nice shot Randall!
Nice shooting Randall! Glad to see things are starting to move for ya! That is a very large male rat, to drop him with just a mere tail wag is very impressive! That Notos is a rat killing machine in your hands! We just got back from a Cruise, celebrating my youngest's 40th birthday (yea, I'm feeling really old), so the feed station went a week without a refill. The last two day/nights have been dead, although the rabbit was back this morning, so maybe word is getting out it's been restocked and maybe I'll see a rat show up soon! I need to get back in action!
Randall , good shooting . And better to wait & not attempt in the birthday suit!! I'm still at one for '25 w/o a pic to prove it . Only a couple sparrows & 3 starlings so far. Paul , I'm with you on the "senior" stage of life as both "kids" are past 40 now ! Replenish the bait station & have at those critters !
The traffic has been slow here to say the least but the last 2 nights the PB disappeared so tonight I prepped with a pre-loaded Notos with red LED flashlight, wireless doorcam, and tripod with y-yoke. At about 6:15pm while I was in the shower someone showed up, a large male on the cam but he didn't stay long thank goodness! He returned about 10 minutes later but left in a hurry. He returned a third time (was a charm) and stayed too long as I was able to get a good aim between his eye and ear and pulled the trigger and he dropped immediately tail wagging but no other movement. A large male about 15" but quite light in weight.

My shots are only 10-20yds, not 50 like you shoot so I am so impressed with your rat shooting distances compared to mine!

Right now I have the .30 Impact and .22 Dynamic Compact zeroed at 50 yards, I may have to pull out the .177 Dream-Tac and zero it for 50 and see if I can get that mouse! The Impact would be overkill...
Great shooting Randall! Nice of him to come back when you were done with your shower My backyard has 4" of packed ice and is very slippery so I have not been doing much pesting
