New Barra Precision bb's .00025 Tolerance

I don't even think daisy precision bb's are that uniform. Nice!

My bb of choice for more accuracy is Hornady Black Diamond.

They are for their $400 electric full auto bb guns. I imagine such tight tolerances prevents jams and costly service returns.
Ball bearings that precise are usually extremely expensive, but maybe Barra figures they will sell a ton based on their full auto bb gun sales. Either way, hopefully the rest of us get a better bb.

That may be so. Barra seems to work with many manufacturers.

You got an extra zero in there.
Barras numbers translate to 0.1732 ± 0.0001 inches (0.1731 - 0.1733)
Much more precise than any normal BB and even the Avantis for the 499B

However...Daisy does have a similarly precise BB, I stumbled upon by accident:
Daisy Match Grade  0.1720 Cal Unplated Precision Shot  (China 2024)
Measured a small sample at 0.17175 to 0.17200"  overall average was 0.17190"
0.17190" + 0.00010 / -0.00015    Quite close to the Barra tolerance, but aiming for 0.1720" rather than 0.1732"

For comparison, Avanti's were 0.17380" to 0.17510, averaging 0.17440"
0.17440" +0.00070 / -0.00060   MUCH larger tolerance, and going for 0.1750" max for the Daisy 499B barrel.

Good to know the Barras exist, thanks for posting -- I'll need to get some to try out.

Edit to add:
--Barra's web site calls these "NEW" and come in 3000 and 6000 count. 
--At 6000 / $15 these are way cheaper than the Daisy 0.1720 bbs, which are almost a penny per shot.
--Barra's amazon store only offers a 2400 count, which I presume are "old" BBs and I do not trust to be of the same high precision.
