Just dug my old Model 36 out of the closet to start shooting with my boys. Here are a few pics.
Just added a new scope since my old eyes don't work as well as they did back in the 80's.

Very nice, thanks for sharing. I have a 1990 model 34. The spring was very tired so I replaced it with a tune kit from Air Rifle Headquarters. The piston seal was still almost as new so I left it alone. Scoped it is one sweet shooter!!

Welcome to the Forum!!
Very nice rifle.
I was sure that I have a Model 36, but it's not on my list. I'll have to clear the closet now to find out. If not, guess I have to go buy one, LOL. (NOT)
Great rifle in that genre. Have fun with it!!
What scope is attached?

My 1988 D34 Sport got a D36 stock in her old days, and it improved her immensely. For decades, these rifles were the do-all of spring piston guns. They still can be everything one needs.

Welcome to the Forum!
Thanks for sharing that beauty. VERY well kept rifle.
Just be sure that there is no oil in the compression chamber before re-starting its use.
If you think there might be some, start with heavy for caliber pellets to get it out via dieseling the gun on purpose, just don't fire more than 20 pellets consecutively that way.
After 20 pellets, if it is still dieseling heavily (look through the bore immediately after shooting, if you can see the light, it is not heavy, if you cannot see the light, then it is dieseling heavily).
If it is, you may need to open her up to clean it and relube it properly.
Keep well, shoot straight, and keep us posted of the activities!
