I just cast 252 slugs to try out tomorrow. They are 23.4 grain. I will put some through the QM-23 and Sumatra to see what sort of speed and accuracy they get with heavier projectiles.

I did some crony work, reg at 13.5 mpa, took a few shots to settle in, after initial fill. Second fill showed no creep, and velocities were between 875 and 880, with 17.6 gr. Norma's, single 3/8 inch hole at 10m after 50 shots.

Unfortunately the driver of my UPS truck got sick and the fill in driver did not make it to my place until about 8pm last night. The good news is the box was pristine when I received it and so was the rifle. My initial thoughts after opening the bullpup match Jareds, it feels very light, especially when shouldered. This first thing I noticed when opening the box was a sticker which stated that the rifle was made in China. Nothing else gave any indication of what company in China made it.

The manual (reminds me of a Crosman manual

) states that the rifle is a QM23 and velocity is rated at 830 fps. Regulator:YES; Trigger: adjustable; 80 shots per max fill (no pellet specified) and a weight of 5.75 lbs. Rifle comes with 2 magazines, fill probe, a number of assorted O-rings, and a small tub of silicon grease.The only plastic on the gun is the cheek rest, everything else is wood and metal. Hammer spring adjustment is accessable without having to remove the stock, and I confirmed that the gun can be de-cocked, safety is manual. Overall fit and finish seem quite good for a rifle in this price range.

Can't really comment on the trigger yet, only used it to see if the gun could be de-cocked. The hammer spring adjustment was backed all the way out from the factory so I am sure there is room to do some velocity adjustments. My 3000 psi buddy tank will be used to initially air up the rifle, then my compressor will complete the fill after I detrmine that it is holding air. I have numerous pellets to try, and some Apolo 21 gn slugs. Starting tomorrow, the forcast calls for 6 days of rain, so this could take a while...

Magazines are indexed so that the bolt will not close after the last pellet is fired. These mags have a different shape than the P15/P35 mags so not sure if those mags will fit this rifle?

Had trouble getting the valve to initially seal, even with gun cocked. Got past that with my tank and gun holding air now. With a low fill at 2000 psi or so, shot three 18 gn pellets over the chrony and got 860-861-861 with the hammer spring adjuster flush, so I am sure it can get up to 880 or so with 18 gn. Should make a great yard gun!!! Trigger seemed pretty light, maybe three lbs, maybe less. I did notice the same issue Jared reported that the safety can still catch when pushed to the fully off position. Will have to take a rat tail file to the nub that the safety catches and open the gap just a bit. Shot cycle seems crisp, and I did not notice a ping that Jared mentioned. More to come...

Just some initial chrony numbers with various pellets. My rifle may be shooting a little hotter that Jareds, could be that the reg on mine is set a little higher. These numbers are three shots for each pellet with a shot in between switching pellets.
Crosman Premier 14.3 - 924-926-924
JSB 15.89 - 910-911-912
Apolo 18 gn - 861-860-861
21 gn Baracuda - 818-827-829
Apolo 18 gn slugs - 796-794-806

All pellets and slugs easily fit the magazine and fed smoothly. Again, the shot cycle on my rifle is crisp (with no ping), and the trigger is nice enough that I will probably not do any adjustments. Loudness is backyard friendly (subjective of course). Cocking cycle is smooth, and I feel sure, will get better with more break in.

To say that I am impressed, for the price, would be an understatement. Of course accuracy has not been tested yet, but everything else so far has exceeded my expectations.

I had no issue with my rails, but I am using a Pinty scope on it. Suposedly they are 20mm Picatinny. Here is what I am using

Shooting the 23.4 grain slugs I cast yesterday I get an average of 221 m/s or 725 fps for 27.32 foot pounds from the bullpup. The Sumatra with those slugs, on the other hand, is smoking at 1171 fps and 71 foot pounds. By shot 6 though it had dropped to 1125 fps and 65 foot pounds.

I tried 3 different ring sets, and a riser mount no fitment issues here

The manual says the rail should be 22mm, but mine does not measure anywhere close to that. I suspect a manufacturing tolerance issue and no one caught it... :'(
Going to see if I can find another rail online to replace this one.

I recall reading that Weaver are slightly smaller than picatinny rails. Perhaps try ordering a few sets of rings that specifies Weaver compatibility from Amazon. Return them if it doesn't work.

Strange. Only rails I know of close to that is the Eastern European 19.5mm dovetail.
