Yep.  Got the sprinklers out and the drip feed irritation system running.

I can hear thunder about ten mile away!

Carter if you get the rain we got you can pack those sprinklers away with the Christmas decorations.

It was necessary to put out the sprinklers to insure that it rains!  The last couple of storms have slid north of us and our garden is dry.

I could do my (in)famous “Park Ranger rain dance” but we try to save the big mojo for Labor Day or July Fourth.

Mustn’t annoy the sky spirits.

Hmmm... maybe that stumble and near fall I had yesterday was mistaken by those spirits as "the dance".

Naw, they were just laughing so hard it brought tears (rain) to their eyes 😭. 😁

Another thing that works every time is washing the car/truck or cleaning the windows on the house.

Stepped out to the PO and to grab some lunch and I wish I had worn more than shorts and a t shirt.

Sometimes it is necessary to make a sacrifice to the sky spirits.  Usually they can be appeased by leaving hand tools on the garden bench but if they are feeling surly I've resorted to leaving power tools out.

Don't believe it?  Leave an expensive tool out and see if it don't pour!

I got them fooled in some cases... I leave the ATVs out when they need a bath.

The shy spirits must be really stubborn around these skies, I left the moon roof open on the car and a bunch of power tools spread all over the yard. Not even a hint of a rain drop in sight!
