Same here Kris..
Betty Lou wanted to go get milk, eggs and bread so we headed to the store right when it began. It didn't really start sticking until we got back.
Here is a pic from one of the security cameras and it's suppose to go for another 4 hours.

We got a light sprinkling of snow. I'm about 15 miles north of Hattiesburg.

So far we got 2.3", according to the weatherman, and supposed to go another 3 hours or so. Maybe another inch or so. But it won't be here long.
The woodstove is keeping the shop a very comfortable 65f.

Funny story...
 My F150 truck I bought used from the dealership here in Indiana is originally from Canada. It has a block heater on a gas engine... The passengers rear view mirror that should say "things are closer then they appear" is written in French.
Last year when it got sub- zero the dash display reverted to metric.... today at -2f it happened again.. "-17" I was doing 88kmh in a 55... and I was getting 30 litres to kilometer!

Guess "Buhla the Bronze Beauty" thought she was finally back home.

I got a pool going says we don't get one flake.  People here are complete morons (but we already had recent proof of that).  They are stocking up like they are about to be snowed in!

If we get any accumulation at all it will be gone in a few hours.  Now if I could just figure out some way to swindle these rubes before the opportunity is gone!

Hurray the warm up has started.
The temps around here finally rose above zero at 4 pm this afternoon.
It was -23 F this morning.
Right now it is +3 F and rising.
Tomorrow is predicted to be + 23 F.
A 46 degree change in 24 hours.

I just remembered that I've got two old sets of snow chains for cars I don't own anymore and mom's got another set (from when we lived in North Carolina).  I'm gonna throw them in the truck and head up to the Dollar General (the beating heart of Sopchoppy)  and see if I can sell them.

I have sleet right now the snow will be here later. My brother is getting snow on the beach in Destin. Family east of me is getting sleet as well.
